Problem
Give the Gift of Sight, a Luxottica Group Foundation, is a family of charitable programs providing free vision care and eyewear to underprivileged individuals in North America and developing countries around the world. Give the Gift of Sight needed a more efficient way to collaborate with U.S. schools to set up eye examinations for children across the country.
Approach
It was overwhelming and time consuming to register thousands of children as they showed up for examinations. They wanted a way to pre-register all the children and get all the paperwork out of the way before they came to the clinic. It can be a bit chaotic with 5,000 kids coming through.
Solution
Give the Gift of Sight decided to use a combination of Ennect Event and Ennect Survey to capture information about the students and register them for the examinations. Now, they can actually populate a spreadsheet to print out nametags and registration cards prior to the event. When children show up, they don’t need to provide permission slips because it has all been done beforehand.
